Daily Prompt: Sleeve (Never judge a book by its cover)

Never judge a book by its cover,

The sleeve gives nothing away.

No-one would ever guess,

The pervery in our day to day.

As we sipped tea in the garden together,

You asked me “Daddy do others perceive?”

“Would they have an inkling?”

“Of what is you and me.”

And as we pondered your question,

A thought came to my mind.

If they could indeed tell about us,

They might be shocked?

Or perhaps aroused by what they find.

So, never judge a book by its cover,

As the sleeve gives nothing away.

And I hope the others in the world’s gardens,

Have as much fun as us in their own perverted play.

Daily Prompt: Tea (Drink Some Tea)

Sit with me my pretty,

Sit and drink some Tea.

Savour a taste more civilised,

Savour it just for me.

I know you love your coffee,

I know you love it’s pace.

But sit and reflect for a moment please,

Sit and abandon your haste.

Sit with me my pretty,

Sit and drink some Tea.

Let’s while away the rush of this world,

Let’s relax, just you and me.
