My Whole Being

I love you,
With all my heart.
As well as some other parts.
My mouth,
For instance.
Loves to kiss your lips.
My hands,
Love to grasp.
Your swaying hips.
My fingers,
Stroke.
Where? I’ll leave unsaid.
The other bits,
I choose to use,
Well, they get busy whilst we’re in bed.
I love you,
With all my heart.
I think you know it’s my whole being, not just any single part.

It’s Amazing

It’s amazing the lift a kiss can give,
How it can cure all our woes.
How the love passes from me to you,
Then back, to and fro.
Its amazing how just that little thing,
Can sustain through thick and thin.
How the love that we both hold,
Blossoms stead of withering.
Its amazing how much I miss that kiss,
How badly I need it right now.
How I yearn it’s restorative charm,
To rekindle my flame somehow.

A Kiss From You

A kiss from you I’ll always miss.

No matter how long I have to wait.

A kiss from you I’ll always miss,

Each second to the next I’ll always hate.

A kiss from you I’ll always need,

For the lift in spirits that it always brings.

A kiss from you I’ll always need,

For in my chest my heart it sings.

A kiss from you I’ll always have,

The memory, the reliving past.

A kiss from you I’ll always have,

Treasured possessions for which I’m glad.
