Please Love Me, As I Love You

I do not wish to inflict you pain,
Yet I do not like the pull of tight rein.
I will personify loyalty,
If one would simply loosen and trust in me.
My heart is true for all my flaws,
Whilst yours is too, of this I’m sure.
So mutually give credit, where credit’s due.
And please love me, as I love you.
