I see you in the crowd as I clear immigration, I see you in amongst the throng of expectant families, friends, lovers and chauffeurs. You shine like the brightest star in the confusion of the nights busiest skies, you shine beautifully, drawing me in like nothing ever could. Like the the very first day, the first time I saw you, you stood head and shoulders above anyone or anything I have ever experienced, again you have me, this day like that I am captivated.
I walk through the barrier my eyes never leaving yours, my place retained in the orderly queue, yet my heart says drop my bags and push through, leap over, fly to you! But I walk, I wait, orderly, patiently, trying my hardest to contain the excitement that has built as I waited in immigration to be processed, as I answered the bored border guards questions about why I’m here.
Finally as I break the queue you leap forward and we grasp each other so so tightly. Barely able to breathe with the excitement our lips meet and the most passionate release imaginable pours forth. Tears break from our eyes, happiness in its purest of forms explodes from our hearts. Our tongues meld into one, our first kiss in months transports us to another plane, another dimension where only we exist, us, just us. People about us stare in shock, some smiling, some laughing, some horrified. But we’re not there, we don’t see it, we don’t hear it, we don’t care, we aren’t there, we are deep in the world where we want to be, we are together again, in each others hearts and arms in our forever plane.
32 days my Beauty, 32 days until we meet again on our forever plane.
