I lie naked

Bare in bed every night

Hoping to feel your touch

If only very slight

I lie naked

Snuggled up to you

Or in fact the pillow

It’s all that I can do

I lie naked

Grasping throbbing flesh

Eyes closed tight to picture

You the girl I’ve been blessed

I lie naked

Always alone it’s true

But my love in 9 short days

I will lie with you
