MY BODY’S WREATH

Desire glistens like a diamond marquis

My tongue reaches and grabs it…

So I can grind it between my teeth

Lust masticated and swallowed deep

Where is your boundary line?

I want to cross it…

Off my list

You’ll find love within me

If you want to find it…

Living in the middle of my body’s wreath

And it will be all yours to keep

  1. Wreaths are for funerals.
Of the life in which we are scorned.
    This one signals the new.
    You and I reborn.
    Together…at last
    Together the future
    Together as one
    Together sewn sutured
